Located at Avonlea Village in Cavendish, "The Montgomery Theatre" presents the Life and Times of Anne of Green Gables author Lucy Maud Montgomery. Commencing June 24 to August 30, there will be three different plays presented nine times a week. The plays are located at this 200 seat 19th century church which LM Montgomery attended. The church is currently located a short distance from her final resting place. Performed by professional entertainers, the three plays are: "Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame, (This book by LM Montgomery sold 25 million copies), "The Importance of Being Ernst" by Oscar Wilde and "Village Wooing" by George Bernard Shaw. This package can be custom designed to include one, two or three shows at the Montgomery Theatre in Cavendish or add a Dinner package which could include "Anne of Green Gables" - the musical in Charlottetown.
